About Us

Delicate and beautiful, with a subtle edge and a dash of humour characterises Susies work. She produces a total of four collections each year, which comprise the Objet Trouvé fashion jewellery range and the Trousseau bridal range. Each jewellery collection is renewed every Spring-Summer and Autumn-Winter. All pieces are carefully handmade in her London studio.

The Objet Trouvé collection formed as a direct reaction against the high tech, mass produced world we inhabit. The ethos of combining individuality with sustainability by recycling the best of the past while tranforming it into the future is integral to this collection. Vintage elements such as charms, beads and other accoutréments are sourced from buying trips around the world, embellished with precious and semi precious stones and worked into beautifully considered, delicate designs. By its nature, each piece is either completely unique or is produced in strictly limited editions, as our clients can then be certain that the inherent uniqueness of their piece of jewellery will contribute and enhance their own individual style.

The Trousseau collection is a celebration of the act of marriage. All brides should possess a collection of wonderful things to make up their trousseau, and Susie's hand made wedding jewellery range is inspired by the old adage 'Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue', and features vintage elements combined with sterling silver and embellished with pearls and semi precious stones. Anxious that the importance of the brides attandents should also be recognised, Susie has also included pieces specifically for bridesmaids and maids of honour.

Susie was formally trained at the internationally reknowned Sir John Cass department of Art Design and Manufacture, now within London Metropolitan University, and formed her business after graduation from the MA Silvermithing, Jewellery and Allied Crafts in 1998. She regularly collaborates on projects with very well known names within the UK High Street and fashion industry at large, and combines her knowledge of current and future fashion trends with her formidable knowledge of design and manufacture within her own range.
